PINET Pressingly: payment network for digital goods

CoderPush helped PINET demonstrate a publisher interchange network for digital goods through connected web properties, transaction tooling, and mobile wallet flows.

PINET is a purpose-built ecommerce and payment platform for digital goods. The Pressingly project demonstrates a Publisher Interchange Network modeled after payment-card networks: digital goods publishers act as merchants, while membership organizations function as issuing partners that give consumers PINET passes.

The problem

The challenge was to clearly demonstrate a complex network-based monetization model for digital goods while proving how different publisher and membership experiences could connect through the same transaction layer.

What we built

CoderPush delivered a comprehensive demo ecosystem that includes:

  • A news website simulating a platform for news publishers within the PINET network.
  • A laws chatbot demonstrating how B2C SaaS providers can leverage the PINET network.
  • A game portal illustrating how game publishers can seamlessly integrate into the network.
  • A PINET site that allows membership organizations and publishers to monitor transaction history, payables, and receivables.

Engineering shape

  • E-commerce & Payment Platforms
  • Digital Goods Monetization

Result

As the demo phase nears completion, the PINET ecosystem successfully demonstrates how a publisher interchange network can enhance digital goods monetization by giving publishers, SaaS providers, game publishers, membership organizations, and end users a connected way to transact across the network.
