EtonHouse: mobile communication for school communities

CoderPush helped EtonHouse improve school communication through a cross-platform mobile app designed for teacher, parent, and school community workflows.

EtonHouse provides educational support to over 120 schools in 12 countries, serving more than 15,000 children globally. The EtonHouse App is a transformative project designed to enhance communication between teachers and parents within the EtonHouse school community. The app serves as a dedicated platform that enables seamless interaction and keeps parents consistently informed about their children’s activities at school.

The problem

EtonHouse needed a mobile application that could improve parent-teacher communication while remaining easy to use, visually appealing, and efficient to develop. The solution needed to support both iOS and Android platforms without increasing development complexity or cost.

What we built

CoderPush developed the EtonHouse App using Flutter, a powerful and flexible mobile development framework. This approach allowed the team to:

  • Build a high-quality mobile app quickly without compromising performance or usability.
  • Use a single codebase to support both iOS and Android, improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Leverage Flutter’s hot reload feature to make rapid improvements and ensure a smooth, responsive user experience.
  • Create an intuitive and visually appealing interface using Flutter’s ready-to-use widgets.
